Assistant Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join the team at The Brook in Point Cook.This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality leader who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in fast-paced venues, and is passionate about delivering great customer experiences while supporting and developing a high-performing team.Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the venue, supporting team leadership, compliance, gaming operations, customer service and overall venue performance.About the VenueThe Brook Point Cook offers guests the warmest welcome in our friendly environment. Assistant Manager

Working closely with the Venue Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the venue, supporting team leadership, compliance, gaming operations, customer service and overall venue performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the venue 
  • Assisting in driving venue performance and achieving financial targets 
  • Leading, coaching and supporting team members across the venue 
  • Managing stock control and ordering processes 
  • Supporting rostering, recruitment, onboarding and training 
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service and venue presentation 
  • Assisting with promotions, events and gaming operations 
  • Maintaining strong compliance across gaming, liquor, TAB and venue operations 
  • Supporting a positive and engaging team culture 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a hospitality leadership or management role 
  • Strong understanding of venue operations and customer service 
  • A positive, hands-on and team-focused leadership style 
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced environments 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills 
  • Knowledge of gaming and compliance requirements is highly regarded 
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays 

 

Essential Requirements

  • Current Victorian RSA 
  • Current Victorian RSG 
  • Current Victorian Gaming Employee Licence 
  • Do Food Safely and Food Allergens Certificate
  • Full Australian working rights
